Been hanging out for an Eliminator style (Picklefork) hull for a while, scouring the classifieds and eBay.
Difficult as you can imagine being down here in Aus.
However, i have finally discovered a hull for sale.
After inital contact, owner has shot me two pics so far, hopefully getting some more pics and info tonight.
Blue style Eliminator (Believe its a 19'), original gel?? (With some pin stripe lettering in areas), split bowl berkeley pump, droop, Owner has a fair amount of glass experience (Works on jetski repairs for a living), states that it is a light layup, and quality of glass work inside is excellent. He brought it over from US, but been sitting in shed for few years now and hasnt got around to it. Wondering if anyone out there can shed some light on the hull? Year? Gel scheme? After sending me these photos he also stated that he had something else Eliminator related for sale.... see below:
You wouldnt believe it, the owner also has a splash mould of the Eliminator.
After getting some initial glass experience from the Bahner, i wouldnt mind trying a layup of my own for my own Eliminator. Obviously it all depends on mould condition, straightness, finish etc. Owner states he would give the moulds an 8/10 rating as they have been sitting a while (In shed), and need some polishing prior to next layup.
I wouldnt imagine something like this comes around often, especially down here. Im only a prospective buyer to try out my own layup and make a boat for myself. Again, can anyone shed some light on the boat, or the moulds below? Any advice from fellow PB users would be appreciated.
