    Default Droop question

So I've been playing with a few droops on my boat. I have a dominator droop that I ran once and it felt like it made some improvements. I also have the old Berkeley long droop that I tried out last weekend. With the full droop, it felt like it was pulling to the right. I'm sure it was because I'm dragging the nozzle. I have the long droop wedged up 4 degrees when I tried it. Can I wedge up more to get the nozzle out of the water? I may be totally wrong but my thoughts are to get the nozzle exit as low as possible without dragging it. Opinions? Here are both droops.Click image for larger version.

The dom looks better but looks like it cld stand some down wedge.what pin angle is it? If youre rideplate is in the 2* range then dom droop has alot of pin angle and a 2-3* wedge down might help loosen the boat up

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I believe the Dom is like 9* pin angle, the best I can measure. My plate is set at 4*. This is in a vee hull. As far as the plate length, just went and measured. It's 17 3/4".
