Gas should available at the track if not it will be close by I'm sure. Don't know who they are bringing in. Contact IHBA if you need more info. The NOS, I know I've picked some up in the past but can't remember what shop. A good start would be to call Lopers (High Performance Store) in Mesa or Phoenix and they should be able to direct you if they don't have it themselves.

They have fuel at Loves. I checked the price a few weeks ago and it was $7.49. for 110 and 104. Unleaded is now 2.45 and diesel was 2.65. It's dropping fast. $.05 this morning. Should be less by race day. I'll check on the race fuel and get the latest price on that. Just called Lopers they doo not fill the bottles. I have a couple of names, I'll check for ya.

Ok here we go, and make a note of this. Lopers does not do it, nor does AZ Speed and Marine or Comp Engineering.

Luck has it that Comp sold the equipment to BASCO. BASCO is in Gilbert, Freeway is close. His HOURS of operation are as fallows.

    M-F 7 am to 6pm

    Saturday 9-3

This is the closest to the track, and the only one that I could find that still does it.

    The Address is

743 N. Golden Key Gilbert Az.

Catch the 202 Santan to Cooper or Gilbert Rd, about 10 minutes from firebird , go north about 5 miles, To Guadilupe. Golden Key is between Cooper and Gilbert on the south side. 20-25 minute drive depending on tracffic

His number is 480-967-1956 or 480-921-1128.

    Here's a little map

    Hope this helps.

Checker SUCKS. Besides this BASCO Gent is an engine builder. That's all he does. I would buy from him way before Checker.

No biggy. I've had issues with them and their rebates. Seems like they are trying a new scam each time I submit one. Kinda like Scum Buy, oop's I ment best buy.

Ihba has been using a Guy out of Cali. called Outlaw Fuels. not sure if he will be there, but FireBird is now using Torco Fuel at the track. I talked with my fuel guy which is torco rep. and hes said that he will tell me by this weekend what is going to happen.

I would steer clear of both Jim McMonacle (Outlaw Racing Fuels) as well as Chris Ketron & Jody Davis of Phoenix Race Fuels (supposedly the new Torco guys).

Both (Outlaw & Torco) have reported product integrity issues as well as huge legal cases pending, and there is tons of proof out there.

Phoenix Race Fuels claims to have control of Torco Race Fuels and it's blends, but Torco is still being run in Decatur by the court???:

Click here to read ... Torco now run by court appointed receiver

Also, Torco was reportedly cutting their production costs by using Av Gas for their base stock & trying to avoid paying prepaid taxes, which started their demise ... those recipes have made it down to Phoenix ... Phoenix Race Fuels is working with a Torco employee who took the recipes there and is now working for (or with) them:

Click here to see Torco's attempt to use Av Gas and avoid taxes

Click here to see where Phoenix Race Fuels claimed to be taking over the company a month before the court took over Torco in Decatur

Phoenix Race Fuels appears to have leased the name from Torco International & are somehow involved ... but it's confusing all the same ... who is the real Torco Race Fuels?

Believe me, I have tons more information than anyone else here on this issue (they were our customers, we sold their product to them). I was Torco guy, do or die ... they were my source of income ... all of a sudden, checks started bouncing & the fuel stopped being produced due to Alan/Latrell and the supposed Av Gas ordeal ... I had to step away.

As far as Outlaw ... let's just say it's reported that Jim owes a lot of money to a lot of people & that his fuel is a repackaged (private label) lower cost race fuel.

VP Race Fuels can be found at:
Western States Petroleum, Phone: (602) 252-4011
    http://www.westernstatespetroleum.com/

Sunoco Race Fuels can be found at:
Speedway Race Fuels, Phone: (602) 276-9250
    http://speedwayracefuels.com/

To say that I have bad things to say about the Phoenix guys (Chris & Jody) is to be polite ... IMO they are extremely shady to say the least. All I have to say is check your specific gravity and run your motor fat if you use the "new" Torco.

If you have any questions ... feel free to give me a call or shoot me a PM.
