Very nice! now i can see the effort that was made in the taping alone here!...tape shading, pinlines, masking, remasking, there is a crapload of time in just the taping alone! did i mention the taping??
Ok that does it I'm going red and white when I redo my boat!!! That thing is F'n beautiful!!!!!!devil Mine will never look anything close to that, but red does look awesome on boats!!!devil
how much for just a bare hull? if I start saving now, by this time, say in.... ten years I could afford one.................................A MAN CAN DREAM CAN'T HE! DAMN Nice peace guys!devildevil
I've always dug the 19' Daytona style hulls and this one is schweeeett. IMHO, they are the ultimate lake hot rod. Seat 4 people, a bit of room left over for stuff and still haul ass. There doing a pretty good job on the track too.... bitchen!!!
The boat is actually in burgandys. It really doesnt look red in person. The last shade gets a little close to red but was neccesary for the fades. The original pictures with the camera phone are indicative of what it looks like.
The purple Daytona is actually my dads. Just wanted to get it out this past summer to blow off some of the cobb webs. The boat is a 93 that Shoemaker built with no time on it. Just a basic stock 454 with a mild cam. Perfect for my dad. I dont need to see him tearing it up and down the river. Love the Daytona hull and had to lay one up. Greg and Mike did a great job. Have a long road ahead to finish it up. As money permits i will get it going. Hope to have it done by spring. Well see.
