Can a guy get his intake reset, with a little glass work too?
Was hem-hawwing about laying out the thousand bucks for the rail kit, Wife told me quit screwing around and order it up.
So... I decided that since the new engine is going to be on the stand for a while I may as well go ahead and have the intake re-set. 79' Miller, Berk 1 piece. There has been some obvious repairs made on the hull around the intake. It does not leak, but it appears that the gasket is lifting somewhat, and I am certain the "patches" could have been done better. I planned on pulling the jet next winter, rebuilding it and setting the intake then, but will do it now instead.
I don't have the time to do it myself, and am not a glass man any way.
Where in Sacramento (or nearby, I live in Redding) should I take it? I want it done right, and will pay gladly for professional work. Also, who is the best for having the pump rebuilt?
Thanks for the advise on the rail kit a few weeks ago, I have to get a spline measurement this weekend to get it ordered up.
