Default 3rd Annual Tom Papp Memorial Run

Since a lot of people have been asking and/or speaking about it ... I figured we should set an official date.

For the last 2 years, it has been on the 2nd Saturday of Janurary. That makes it fall on Jan 10th this coming year.

We had about 35-40 boats show ... it was cold, but real fun.

Hope everyone can make it ... this should serve as enough notice to get your stuff together ... and just so no one will ask, no the WindWalker probably will not be finished (but who knows )

    Last year:

Brian, it has been held on sundays in the past. I think a saturday would be better. That way we can keep the party rolling into the night. Can't wait to hit the water, Jack finished up the impellor yesterday and I should be all together for the trip.

RIP Tommy !!! Missed but never forgot!!!!!

There was alot of cruisers out there last year, i think i raced Kjell and Dans deck boat was out there. Show up, it's a good time. All the cruisers were at the north end of the cove.

You are correct ... I meant the 2nd weekend of Janurary ... and that we should have it on Saturday.

Should be fun, more amd more people are asking about it, should be a fun day remembering Tommy and checking out some nice rides.

I remember a lot of people from up north saying that they wanted to come down, but didn't have enough notice. Well here it is, and by having it on Saturday, they can have a return day to drive home.

Twin Turbo build is still in the works, sold the old motor to Blunder ... otherwise that would have been a great plan!

Okay smart-ass (I don't know if my key board can do that ?) At Firebird this weekend 6 people introduced themselves to me because I was wearing my shirt that has my avatar on it; will you be bringing your avatar so we know who you are ?

My boat might be apart in January if it's not maybe I'll drag it up there.

Sounds like a good day to stretch the Hallet's legs out.

I never met the man but I'd really like to go to this event, with my boat. I need a sign that say's "will work for oil and spark plug wires", LOL.

What a cool idea! But if Smart Asses shirt has his avitar on it everyone will be stareing at his shirt instead of looking at his face and we still won't know what he looks like!
