I used a Watts N45B-M1 regulator. However, I removed the spring and substituted a McMaster-Carr part number 9435K151 spring in order to get it to regulate at a lower pressure. I set mine at 7 psig on my BBC, and it never runs over 140 degrees (F). If you do this, set it up on a garden hose with a pressure gauge to verify it's working properly.
