Default Need help in troubleshooting my jetovator/diverter...

I have a Dominator pump with Bennett hydraulic pump and what I believe is American Turbine Trim... The pump works fine as far as going up and down, however, when in up position, it doesn't stay there and begins to go down over a few minutes time. So, I guess that means that it is not holding the pressure to keep it up... Am I right?

There are no hydraulic leaks anywhere, what do u guys suppose is the problem?

    Thanx a bunch in advance...

    Mike...

Internal leak, such as a valve not 100% sealing allowing pressure to leak by.

Thanx a bunch... After looking at the solenoids on top of the unit inside the transom, I noticed that one of them was not screwed in all the way (probably the boat vibration got it loose). I tightened it up and I think it solved the problem...

On another note, the Bennett pump unit has 4 solenoids... Why is there 4? There is only one actuator on my jet nozzle, so I'd think that all I need is 2 (or maybe even 1, since the pump can run in forward or reverse to do its job)... Am I right?

Also, can anyone explain to me exactly what happens internally, from the moment that I press the up or down button on my steering wheel as far as the movement of hydraulic fluid to opening and closing of the solenoid valves?

    Much appreciated in advance...
