    Default ### jet

Does anyone have a jet boat with a normally aspirated engine, no nitrous on pump gas that does 100+ mph?

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

I thought Hass was able to run pump gas???

Cyclone, CS19, Fuelinmyveins, Blytheonian, etc. all had pump gas motors that ran over 100 before switching to n20 motors ... they still can I think, but they get crazy with the button too much I think.

They can post up more accurate information, but I know that they all were based on pump gas builds at the beginning. Maybe not CS' new motor ... but his old one for sure.

until last winter, i routinely ran over 100 without blower/turbo/nitrous on pump gas for 6 years... not a ton over, but over, in a antique heavy hull... why do you ask?

mine is a pump gas motor. I have even ran 87oct. in it for about 2 miles once just to get me back to the ramp. 10.2/1 comp. It won't run much over a hundred.

yes ... without turbos or blowers, wasn't sure about bp's ride with or without nitrous & , also there's others within the NJBA ranks ... I think Widowmaker has tuned for pump gas but mixes with 110 to make a 100 octane to run more timing.

My Cp with a 468ci Paul Phaff engine that made around 630hp would run 10.70 ET at 97 mph. That was 6-7 yrs ago.Its not hard to make 750hp now days. With the right combo a good jet boat should or can run 100mph.A good jet and bottom hardware is a must though.
