If you're planning on making more than ~475-500hp, logs won't work well. If you do source logs, the long-bolt logs flow better than short-bolt logs. Upswept 4-bolt header style manifolds flow well, but can't be used with tall valve covers.
With a large increase in torque over the stock 460, the 3-point engine mounts will be insufficient. You'll need either a 4-point mount set or a rail kit. A rail kit will work even though the Carlson's have narrow stringers; ~22". You can use a standard rail kit and notch or section the rail for starter access, or source a 460 rail kit setup for a top mount starter.
A stock 5qt oil pan is marginal for a higher HP build, and a larger oil pan requires a 4-pt or rail kit mount.

I've seen a CV23 with true, water jacketed headers. Part of the storage area above the engine was opened up and insulated for header clearance. Was a very nice looking setup.

Have noticed on several Glastron 460 jet applications that the manifolds are angle milled at the exit so that the snails angle in slightly (due to hull and transom configuration) The majority of the 460s for these boats seem to also use what we call the "long bolt" style of manifolds which seal better
