Default Anyone know the History of this PlaceCraft?

All Rigging is Gold Anno and a lot of it is 1 off custom, Calgo Steering, R Intake, Capped, Gel Graphix continue on to the bottom of the hull, Balsa Checker floors with African Mahogany inlays throughout, Trailer has 13" Westerns on it and has Blown Gas Jet hand painted on it. Has a Gold Plate on top of the pump extension for the cleanout that has a long prayer engraved in it that has something to do with flying safely, supposedly had a blown hemi that Kuhl and Mickey Thompson had a hand in building in it. Looks like it hasn't seen much time on the water at all since it was laid up in 1979 HIN starts with PCJ and ends with 79.
Keep in mind that it is very dusty and the colors are way more vibrant then they appear in the pic and it is the original gel.

I will get more pics of it next week, any info would be appreciated thanks guys!

Oh it's definitely exceptionally clean especially for it's age ... it's like it's been in a time capsule ... the rigging is pretty impressive even by todays standards.
Someone's gotta know this boat ... i'll snap some pics next week when i drag it home and give it a bath.

This is my old boat. I purchased it without a motor in about 1985 and installed the 392 Hemi. I sold it complete in about 2004 and saw that the Hemi had been installed in a vintage flat bottom that was being shipped to New Zealand. PM me if you'd like the history on the boat.

Nice talking to you ... appreciate the info especially confirming my suspicions that the boat has been sitting in a garage and hasn't seen the water for the last 25+ years.

Yes, I rescued this nostalgic piece and not a day too soon almost passed on it as bitch scratched up as it is, but it was SCREAMING "Bill recue me" Lets just say, its in the right hands now. Its not Nearly as nice as the pics depict, but fortunately I have the resources to correct the asenine things that have gone on with it. Its a shame when folks dont cover these priceless pieces. This boat will see the water as soon as this spring. It needed someone who actually gives a shit about it.
