78hallett these are the 2 filters that are running about 2 foot on each side from the tanks. then there is fuel lines that run to a T then a line to the pump. Do I even need the filters or should I get something else. Thank you for the help.

Like I said, IMO you dont need those filters. Just one good inline filter on the feed line going from the T to the fuel pump.

Does anyone know where I can buy "witchcraft emblems" for the sides of my boat. Not sure what the first owner did with them. Thank you all in advance.

those little plastic pos filters are fine for lawnmowers. not so good for boats. real nice when they crack, get gas all over the bilge and start the boat on fire...

if you have tank vents outside the gunnel, they need to be kept clean and clear. you also need to think about a fuel/water separator/filter. something like this
    FUEL/WATER SEPARATOR KIT: Outdoor Sports : Walmart.com

there are numerous places that have similar separator fittings like this. there are numerous types of spin on filters that also function as separators. some have drains on the bottom of the filter so you can drain water out into the bilge when it's full. you can get spin on replacement filter/separators at napa.

the thing is, as you run the boat around, those tank vents become water suckers. the more exposed they are to spray, the more water get's into your tanks. with a separator, you don't need a "T" or "Y". you can run hoses from each tank to the separator, then one hose to the fuel pump. works fine. way better than those little pos lawnmower filters.
