    Default Aluminum race boat trailers

I am looking to upgrade my trailer under the stealth and was wondering why you dont see anyone running a trailer designed like a competetive but aluminum in construction? Cost doesnt seem to be a factor with most of the racing comunity.
A trailer that will always look good and doesnt have to be painted, is lighter, wont rust. Just wondering

I think you would be welding the trailer all the Time. Cost is Big Time also.

Down here along the coast alot of the guys with fishing boats use them. They are light and no worries about rust.I'm seeing more and more of them all the time.
Here is a popular manufacturer in my area. They can custom build also.

With aluminum rims and wood bunks mine floated. Made loading and ramp conversations interesting.

DITTO.... on the floating issue, my road trailer has a floating issue as well. Makes for a real loading problems, when the river current is strong.

    Jim's Fountain, on trailer:

I know he's never said anything about floating issues, so I suspect he diesn't have, but, no first hand info. Sorry.
