that would probly be best !! there will probly be a seam or two in the fabric from all the angles on the scoop . unless you trying to shave some weight . also if you paint some of it and clear the whole thing i bet the weight would be close, Ben there done that for ski doo on there race sleds and it didnt end up much differant in the end to make it worth the cost. I had my scoop wrapped with white
Carbon fiber. Looks awesome. Although Unlimited Fiberglass here in so cal does make carbon fiber scoops if ordered. They also have silver carbon fiber.

    Default carbon scoop

Rob Ward makes carbon products. Although not exactly like the one you posted. Rob makes 2 or 3 styles of scoops. I am just mentioning this as an option. He is near London, Ontario Canada. I will likely be going to see him before the end of the year. I could bring something back if you would like. (I see you are in Michigan). Rob might be interested in making something custom? Although he does this as a side job and is usually pretty busy with his normal products. It wouldn't hurt to ask him? He posts on here as FastForward, his is one of my friends in my profile if that helps. He has photos in his profile. Also search on here and there is quite a bit of his stuff around. I see it comes up used on here every so often.
