Are you talking for the E series pump? If so I put the HTP ride plate, bolt on shoe, and a snoot with 7 degrees of wedge at the same time. I went from running upper 50's to 63mph. There was a gain. I did notice the boat ran drier and overall rode a little better in rougher conditions as well. This was on a 16ft Tahiti with SBC.

Standard berk intake with bolt on shoe/plate. I had to get a taller cradle from ARS marine as Dwayne was out at the time. Added right angle to the sides and also made a longer plate to match length of aggressor 9... Yes on over all performance. Its set at 3 up and biting edge is at keel. Both HTP and ARS sells em.. My snoot has a 4* pin an I am running a 2* wedge now. Used this on final install to shape an ensure integrity as well fill and smooth out all gaps..

thanks for the input guys. Sounds like a positive winter add-on . Did you notice any negative handling on shut down? I guess I too would need to make my own longer plate as I also have the aggressor 9 vane,n 4*wedge,droop. Can a guy buy just the shoe and bracket?

The plate that came with the set up is about 18 3/4'. The one I made is 20" An brings the cradle to end of bowl. Measuring to mount was a bitch as the intake is slightly off center of pin on diverter. I used a ruler to square up the plate/shoe to intake an ended up bout 1/8" off the cradle to plate( I've seen alot of machined ones the same way). I had my plate cut to my dimensions at a local metal supply (found a remnant piece there) all for bout 20 bucks. Bought a countersink drill bit at the same place as I bought hardware to ensure same angle as bolts.
You might try a WTB on here an the other few boating sites for a used set up just for the shoe. I believe its a kit only new but just call Dwayne (htp) or ars... make sure they know the set up for cradle height. You will probably need the tall one. The kit comes with some tuning spacers for cradle but I used a piece of 3/4" to achieve 3*. I did notice it planes better, picked up speed an steers better to. No issue on shut down... I have a rock grate still on an dont really see the need to ad a loader at least yet.
