    Default weight of jetboats

Just out of curiosity how much would one say the average jet boat weighs? trailer, boat (18ft), engine (big block), fuel... For towing reasons.

3000 lbs geez I could redo the whole thing in honeycomb and carbon fiber if cost were not an issue, cut that weight in half.

The question was with trailer for towing purposes. now the 3k gets realistic

I wasn't disagreeing with Rod, but i only had weight specs on boats. You can add probably 1200 - 1400 for the trailer, it should be on your registration. Most people think there boats are alot lighter than they really are. A bare hull 19' Rogers claims to be 925 lbs, I would imagine most fall into this same area.
