Default Why Ford heads are good... for Sleeper.

Well, discovered a couple of leaks in my shop's roof the last rain. So I decided to put up some plastic until it dries out for a few days and can re-roof. I needed something to keep the plastic down and keep it from blowing away... first thing came to mind... ford heads:

They work perfect as they little or no value and are both heavy and don't flow air... so therefore do not run the risk of blowing away in high winds.

Jet boat related: Got boat all ready to go to the Tommy Papp Day at Elsinore... just need some fuel and run the mop across it the night before. Here we are mid desert season and I'm itching to go drive my boat.

hey james, did you have a structural engineering evaluation performaned on that roof??? it -may- not be strong enough to hold that thing up there for very long. but then again, it might help hold the roof on in a hurricane or tornado...

Good thing you used a Ford head....if it was a Chevy head it would have rusted away.....
