Default CO/AZ bound in a week or so

If anyone in those states/area's can offer driving tips or good watering hole locations etc I will likely be flying to CO to pick up a truck then heading to Phoenix to pick up my next project boat (no im not admitting to this one lol) before I drive back to the great white north, minus 40 today!

So far my only for sure stops are in Ph and to buy Squirtcha a beer or two...

...ok ok I may go to this place for a burger too :O

Holy smokes if I was in Co. I would have to make my way to Summit County and go skiing for a week or so.
    Vale is just awesome.

The ONLY food place I can recommend to you is www.rumbi.com/locations.php this place has the best food in Phoenix and is awesome and cheap! My recommendation is Brown Rice, Steak with Chicken and Jamacian Jerk Sauce!

Deluxe Burger is also AWESOME but I dont know if you want to pay $10 for a burger. They have a lot of beer on tap as well. Its on the north side of Camelback around 36th St.

PS. I highly recommend you go to Rumbi's!

DO NOT SPEED ON PHOENIX HIGHWAYS! They have a ton of Camera's and Mobile Camera units! They have to be posted with signs so keep an eye out for Yellow Diamond Shaped Signs! Just set your cruise control at no more then 7 mph over and you should be OK. They even have them coming into and out of town just be aware!

Leave your swag at home pal.

Here's an idea though. Maybe you could bring along some t-shirts, ball caps, keychains, thongs (girls preferrably) or other items that are used to advertise Eagle Boats?

There's alot of snow in CO. I'm in Aspen for the holidays and we've had 34" since Monday afternoon. So from Denver To Grand Junction expect some slow travel and crappy roads. Have a safe trip.

Im in Pho now, going to get my "new" project boat cl;eaned up and ready for the trip back today and have some stuff to do tomorrow before I "can" leave town. Still not sure of my plans and/or route but Id like to avoid hilly terrain if at all possible. For that matter avoiding snow would be nice too, we have enough of it back home!

I may very well be pasing thur GJ Colorado on my way back, PM me a number where I can reach ya.

I can't belive no ones asked what the new project boat is, it sure aint aluminum! lol

Oh and if anyone in Pho is looking for a flattie Vdrive project there is one down the road from where my boat is for $1500 no motor but all hardware/trailer etc I have a picture of it but no way to transfer it from my phone to PC.

Off to sort out a hitch and have a double bypass .........

    Cheers
