I did a LS based 5.3 a couple years ago. I love it. had to fab up a few parts, but most everything is available. I built my own headers, got the engine plates from JBP. I run mine with a fresh water cooling just like the big blocks. I tapped the engine plates to accept the water fittings. works great!!

I would like to add my thanks to the people and sponsors that helped make this possible:

Harold Bruce, R & D Marine for setting the intake and for set up assistance and advice.

Timm Jurencie, (Timminator), Tuff Enuf Racing Engines for engine machine work and race pump work.

Richard, West Coast Cylinder Heads for CNC work on the LS7 heads.

I did all the work on engine decisions, engine build and installation, and the hull and bottom work.

Default Turbo EFI Ls-1in a Cheyenne

I have one. So far I have broken pistons three times due to my inability to tune EFI.
I am getting ready to do another one with a iron block 6.0 and a blow thru carb for my other Cheyenne.

We now make theses rail mount kits in configurations for rigging with and without closed cooling systems (serp belt and water pump systems can be retained)
