    Default testing

    Happy New Year to all

Yes Todd' Don built the motor, and Don and Jim Bandilen did the set up on the plates, Don said we have a little fine tuning left and we should be in the high 130's, right now they set the plates conservative until I get some seat time, we are going to to do a leak down and run the valves one more time

This was the best New Years I had in A LONG TIME

BIG THANKS TO JIM WILKES AND DAVE NOYES FOR THERE TIME

Sorry guys, but what is a "hat" and what does "na" stand for and laughing gas? Just like all my questions, no clue on what you racers are talking about. I should have asked santa for a glossery on race terms

Just google all of your questions. only stupid question is the one not asked. Some times its better to appear stupid than speak and remove all doubt. Jim you could always hang out at a marine shop for a while, where are you located at?

    This is NA

NA= Naturally Aspirated. Meaning, no mechanical assistance like a blower, supercharger or turbo to get a mixture of fuel and air into the cylinders.

    Below is a hat

The hat is a fuel injection hat, like a throttle body on a fuel injected car. it has a valve that delivers more fuel as the butterflys (the three blue things on the front) open alowing more air to enter the engine. A Hat will replace carburators on an engine as an alternative method of delivering fuel and air to the engine for cumbustion.

CB guys and truck drivers have Handles. The majority of members here have their boat name as their user name on here. California city is in nor cal by Reno isn't it? Or is is by the CA oregon Border? How old are you? I some how get the feeling that you and Hawiian jet are around the same age.
