    What kind of crank was it?

    The fillet radius looks pretty small, has it been repaired?

    Strange place to fail!

    ..... a blown up engine thread that wasn't my fault

    Looks like a forged chevy crank. Before this season's motor issues, the last engine explosion I had was back in 1990 and very similar to this one. Here's a pic of some of the damage. This was caused by detonation due to to much timing on a nitrous pass...

    Well... that's nice and all being laid back... but...

    Well... look at this way... it served a good life... and it died pretty damn good. I'm just glad my woes were melted pistons and broken roller lifters... there ain't no "patching" that puppy back together.
