    Default Replacing my headers...????

Hello all, I'm needing some advice on replacing my headers. I have a 23' Wriedt with a 460. I have these Indmar headers on right now and they have rusted through on the sides.

Should I get new Indmars, or should I replace them with something different???

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

Dont know where you are from, but ebay is your best luck, you can fine these type of header manifolds pretty much at swapmeets and online sites, How much do you want to spend on a set of headers, i know lightnings are pretty spendy new, cmi's are spendy, pretty much when you strey away from your types of headers, it gets drastically expensive, wether its dry over transom headers, or the lightening style, sorry for knotting up your thoughts! lol
Pomona and long beach swap's usually have an abundance of these, Call up
Cyclone speed marine in Pacoima Ca, Jim Brock could probably locate a set for you!

Thanks man. Yeah I'm in Oklahoma, so I will probably just order them through the net.

What would you say I would have to pay if I bought these exact pair brand new...????

    Thanks again.

I would'nt know the first place to look!
Check out Ebay or craigs list...you will find a set on there for waaaay less than buying new, have them repolished,...gotta be less than 400stones refinished and ready to rock!
That kind of stuff i personally would buy used. i dont have a clue what price of it is new?? i imagine not cheap!

Give Tony Skagen a call at skagenboats.com. He has shelves of these in the shop.

Sounds like a PM to OkieDave is in order since they're close to each other.

    Or Tony Skagen

Also try Joe @ JP Marine in the San Diego area ... I'm sure he might have some and will ship to you. 619-443-3320

Why don't you try a set of twisty ones, there pretty cool. One question, is that the bottom of the boat, if so wont those wires cause some one to be shocked or electrocuted with the water that comes in?
