    Default Boat Weight

Hello All, I have a 21ft Nordic Jet, full interior, 455 Olds with Logs. I filled it up with gas the other day on both sides and went and weighed it on the trailer. 4000lbs. Is this around what I should have suspected? It has a competitive tandem axle trailer, does anyone have a guess to what that weighs? Maybe I was way off on my guesstimates, but she seems a little fat, even for a 21 footer. Bring me back to earth if that's what I should have expected.

How would I tell that? I've replaced the floor, so I've seen everything under it. Everything seemed fine, I don't get any water in the boat after a full weekend on the lake.

So this was gross weight including the trailer correct? suspect the trailer is around a 1000 lbs, motors approx. 900, jets just under 100, 40 gallons of fuel is 320 +or-full cruiser interior probably 300 +...

Yes, Gross weight. I just don't have a clue what to expect for a 21ft mini daycruiser.

I guess with the numbers you listed it puts the hull around 1200 to 1400lbs depending on the weight of the battery, stereo, life jackets etc.

That should be pretty close if I remember right our 20 ft cruiser weighed in between 900 to 1100 and the 22 was right a 1400

Assuming the other numbers are close+ or - yes ... FWIW one of the things we see often is way to much "junk" in these boats in lockers, under seats , duplicate stuff like two tool boxes, extra anchors, 5 ski ropes etc etc cruiser especially seem to be clutter closets, Boats are very weight sensitive regarding performance leave the extra stuff at home
