Default when you dont have a mill.......

    a vertical bandsaw will do.

i wanted a new seat frame that was lighter and incorporated a n2o bottle mount so...

i bought some 2x4x1/4-inch aluminum angle for the stringer mounts. the curves were drawn by tracing a stringer washer

which i cut up using my trustry craftsman band saw

    and voila!

i added two sections of 2x2x1/4 aluminum angle for the braces. at some point i'll take these to a friends shop to add windows to take some more weight out

Nice job. You are obviously way more skilled with tools than I am, I could never get those lines that straight.

I would not doubt that skinny. Maybe you will put your grinder away when it comes to motor installation so it might make it down the track.

If i could only get my bandsaw to cut straight... the f'ing think always wants to go off to the left. Mine has these shitty plastic squares that hold the blades straight, the left one gets melted away and i think thats what causes the blade to go that direction... I'm going to replace them with some steel keys and hopfully that will fix it...

    Nice Work!
