    Default boat cover

i would like another cover for my cheyenne.

I had bought a custom cover from Westland (listed as a 1995 Daytona) and with very little modification, it fit my cheyenne. (the pickles were a little wider on the cheyenne)

well, the cover is getting worn and i would like to replace it.

    Westland dont make them anymore.

The cover i have now fits nicely over the scoop and pickles.

What do you use? Even a one size fits all would be ok, i suppose.

I have just had Custom Canvas Build me a real nice tow cover with alot of add-on's and colors to match the boat fully reinforced< im absolutly in love with it! i know we are out west a little, might want to look into having a nice custom cover made?
    Dont have any pics, sorry!
I was using a cover from wallmart and it trully was water resistant, but even for the biggest size, it needed to be a bit larger!
Spend good money on a great cover, and protect your investment!

i spent the money but did not protect the cover. Figured i would just buy another one. nope. it really fit nice too, and i think i got it for $350 or so to my door...waterproof...mildoo proof...still works but will need to be replaced this summer.

If i would have just used a cheep plastic tarp over it, it would still be like new.

The sharkskin isnt bad, I use one now just for storage. The daytona cover fit my 19 Shadow almost perfect. Its just not tight enough in some areas where Id like it to be, but then again, its only used as a dust cover.

With the sunbrella being 627.00 Id say its worth it to have one custom made for about another bill that can also be used for towing.

As soon as I get a motor back in Im gonna have a tow cover made.

Now I don't know if this will help or not.

The cover I originally had (a tarp) wasn't cutting it. I had to pick up a cover fast as it was going to rain the same day. I really had to stay in check with money. (huge Medical Bill) When I was at Pepboys I saw a boat cover while I was waiting on parts. I didn't think much of it at the time but i remembered this and went back for it.

MY boat is 18'6 I picked up a cover that was 22' for scoop and OT headers. I washed the boat down and slapped it on it reaches from the tongue of the trailer to the back of the pump. and it fits tight not one flat spot the water rolls right off it. Its water and UV proof. Can't remember the material its made out of but it does a damn good job for 45 bucks.

I must say to date that is the best money i have spent on anything for the boat.

I might try calling them again to be sure

You might try this. I was down ay my local marine boat sales and noticed when they get new boats in they come with shipping covers. They had a bunch of them piled up the one I got was for a 40' fountain I picked it up for nothing they said most people don't take them with there new boat. It was 40' long but only covered the top of the boat. I cut it off at the back and resewed it it has rachet straps down the sides and fitts my 16' jet boat like it was made for it covers my over transom headers and down the sides to the bottom heavy material and flease lined and vents works great and was priced right.
