Cool Ultra 1995 LX -21" Open Bow - Considering on buying - What to look out for

I'm going to look at 1995 Ultra LX 21 Openbow, with 454. I hear some Ultra boats have some hull problems. Not sure what to look for? The boats been sitting for about a year & a half. What should I look for
when going to check it out? The seller mentions its been rebuilt with about 40 hours on the engine & pump. How many hours until a pump needs to be rebuilt?

Any other thoughts of what to look for are greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

The boat should start easily run and idle well , likley will run around 120 to 140 degrees with 50 to 70 lbs of oil pressure at speed 25+ oil pressure at hot idle , not leak anything of significance (water) not smoke or knock , "snap" on plane when accelerated, throttle back to around to 3200-3500 ish for a cruising speed , depending on actual HP probably top out at around 60 mph with somewhere around 4800 rpms normally loaded , turn and handle to your satisfaction at low, med and higher speeds, suggest review all receipts and records of claimed repairs , Oil should be clean (not milky) Pump health can be evaluated by overall performance call or post up here if you have, lots of folks ready to help .. Thanks Tom! Great advise! The 94 didn't look so well. Now looking at a 2000 Ultra LX Open bow. Years ago I had a 73 Southwind with a 460 that was fast, about 75-Plus.
I know these Ultra's weigh more, but it seems most are going in the 60 MPH rang with a stock 454, running 330-340HP. On a boat like this, how many Ponys will I need to get into
    the 75 MPH plus range?
