Well He's been post-whoring the ads for that boat, and he's come down from 3K
Offer 1800 and see if he'll take it. THEN its a good deal.
    do you have a pump?

I am sure someone will disagree with me, but those sanger jet hydro's aren't very fast. Your rogers is probably faster with that motor than the jet hydro. They are cool looking boats though.

Jet Hydro's don't work. Hydro's were designed to lift the tail and jet's need the tail in the water. They do look cool though.

    Listen up right there ...

Keep the Rogers, DO NOT get the jet hydro ... you would be sorry if you did.

Hydro, okay ... one with a jet, no way.

A friend of mine had a Hondo Hydro jet boat with a blown 468, 87 mph top speed. Unless you want a hydro purely for it's looks, which doesn't sound like you, you will be dissapointed. He sank that hydro 3 or 4 times partially because of it's low freeboard.

A friend of mine Dean Willis had a Sanger Jet Hydro that ran 133+MPH at Long Beach in the mid 1970's.Rated X with Don Yates ran the fast also at Ming 1976.

    Default Sanger Hydro

They are plenty fast..I'm sure there are a handful of guys here that know what I'm talking about. Besides even if they we not fast, just because they are so cool looking is enough reason right there. I can't take mine down the street, at the ramp or on the water without all kinds of people wanting a ride and hanging all over the it..sometimes it better to be cool..chics dig it..

Jet Hydro's suck! They'll never go over 60 and there to hard to get up off the bottom of the lake. But this one will smoke that Rogers of yours.

Ive been watching this guy try to sell this thing for awhile now, and have some questions. Is this really a 'hydro" or would it be considered more of a tunnel ? Here's a link to one of his old listings that shows a pic from the back, http://fresno.craigslist.org/boa/974623812.html

No, it not mine. And I don't want it, just curious.

That hull is a 78 or newer. I've yet to find another 77. 1977 was the first year Sanger made the Jet Hydro. My boat was made from the Dean Willis mold.

The Sanger Jet Hydro that Dean Willis raced and set the record at 133 MPH was a 1974.The Rated X,Sanger Jet Hydro that Don Yates crashed at Lake Ming was built in 1976.Willis didn't start building them till 1977.He sold them as Willis Jet hydros.
