    Default Hand hole cover help

Bought a new HH cover and need advise as to how the NEW O ring installs into the cover. The old O ring and the new one fits the old HH cover but neither o ring fits the groove in the new cover. Anybody else run into this problem ? I sure don't need to pull a fleet, lol.

80 views and not an answer. I must be the only jet owner here with a clean out. Maybe I should have asked this question in the V drive section. I am no dummy and can tell whats right from wrong and something isn't right here.

Just a guess, but it sound like they sent an o ring from a different pump mfg than the hand hole cover, its not rocket science.

ok, I didn't know there were different size o rings for a stock Berkeley HH cover. In the 30 plus years of owning a jet (not a rocket) I have never ran into this problem. I'm leaning towards the groove in the cover wasn't machined or cast the correct size but not being a rocketeer I could be wrong.

There are not different size O-rings for the stock Berkeley HH Cover. But there are different brands of covers that have different sizes. So maybe the O-Rings got mixed up by whoever you got it from. We have 4 different sizes of them in stock for the most common pumps.
