Here are a few highlights for 149 Tsunami.
The first call to the rope was announced and the boats headed down to the lineup area where this was going at the normal rate. So, here I am at the rope and the starting barge personnel said left lane, “thumbs up when you are ready”, that’s where my grim-lins began!
Was towed off the lanes and we started to looks for why the voltage drop was being the problem and starting issues.
My crew and I began to look and test all devices and charging equipment to find the culprit.
By now the NJBA was on the second call for qualifying. I had to go into Bakersfield and buy a new battery. After arriving at the race course, I decided to see who I could buy a new starter from.
The first team I decided to ask was Team C, Mark had a starter.
I want to take this time to thank:
Team C Performance
16706 Lakewood Blvd
Bellflower, CA 90706
Mark and Kevin, Thank you for the team support, we were able to continue racing and got the last round of qualifying.
For those of you who were not here, the Un-blown Fuel Jets were off the charts, really good numbers for the first 1000 foot race course, well done
