    Default Pump goes dry at idle

    BBC with a JF pump and at idle it will go dry. This is the only jet I have been aound so is this common or is there something I can do to fix the problem?

    If your saying the water flow to the engine decreases or stops at idle and there are no "down stream" valves or restrictions (to the engine), your likley facing an internal jet issue

    it doesn't do that but the pump makes a noise--like the impeller rubbing the wear ring while they are both dry.
