    Default Water Jacketed Headers

I've been looking for a set of used lightning headers or cmi headers with little luck but ran across these XS water jacketed in my search and was curious if anyone has used them or has any feedback on them. Here's the link http://xs-power.com/other-specialty-marine-6.htm

Double wall stainless for under a grand? Hmm.. I'd like to see a pair in person or be guaranteed a refund if I wasn't happy with the product's quality.

Have you called and talked with the mfg? Are they made in the USA? I'm curious to what "coated inside and out" means. Why would you want them coated on the inside?

A 5" collector seems a bit odd and they should include elbows like lighting does.

XS Power is a Chinese company that clones others' products. The quality is never as good as whoever they copied from, but they are certainly cheap.

They are blatant knock offs of lightning headers and at that price point they are obviously made over seas. I was a welder / fabricator for almost 10 years ago and threw around the idea of making my own set but after pricing material through burns stainless I was well over what these things run finished. I guess my question is what kind of quality would be to expected by someone who has tried them. Obviously they will not be in the same class as any of the big name made in the USA brands but if they aren't horrible they may work for what I want to use them for.

If you want to do this again someday by all means buy Chinese

If you want to do it once, buy American made headers
