    Default Intake pressure?

Round bottom 18' v-hull, any ideas on what would be ideal pump intake pressure or close to it might be? Right now I'm just under 30 lb. top and bottom, thanks.

If you are referring to engine cooling water (as well as whatever exhaust water you use) 15psi should be max. Just for comparison the average garden hose pushes 45 to 60psi.

I asked a similar question a year or 3 ago.....could never get an answer other than it varys per hull.
Are you tapped top and bottom...or just in the center.
One thing adding the pressure taps did for me is tell me I had too much loader....and not enough shoe.
Edit....just reread that you are tapped top and bottom...my bad

I'd say you're pretty close. I'd bring the loader down to keel line and run it.
