Default "Barn find" - Hull ID

    Hi,
I recently found this hull lying on the ground adjacent to the premises ofa local boat builder. It turns out the factory guy was the ownerand was planning on converting it into a bass boat !!
I convinced to him to sell it to me. These boats are so rare inSouth Africa (a handful at best) that I have almost no reference points in determiningexactly what I purchased.
I recently bought a 19" Eliminator Daytona and at face valuethis I what I believe it to be, but there are some styling cues that aredifferent so I am in doubt. At face value the hull looksreasonably sound. There are other obvious questions like is it worthrestoring? and is there any value associated to a hull in this condition?
Your input will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    My current hull

    New hull

If it's an eliminator all of the daytonas have a HID stamped inside the right front sponson just in case the HID on the transom isn't there

Thanks Jet. I did not see any ID tags (but wasn't specifically looking). I have stored the boat at our boat club, so will have to get down there and have a closer look.

If you find the HID you can PM Shueman on here and he can tell you he date it was sold new, to who, original colors, etc, he has a log of all of them back to 76. Mine was delivered on 11/17/77. (It's a work in progress)
