Something is wrong. What is the RPM you're seeing at WOT? If you just stand on it from from a float does it act like a slipping transmission? Tom at Jet Boat Performance will chime in here. Listen to him, he knows his shit and is very fair!

no it will jump right out of the water, I did not check the rpm,s at that time but it was close to full throttle. I do have a place deverter on this jet also and it wont even shoot a rooster tail. could it be the jet is being restricted.

Think about an energizer kit for your pump...swapping out for a berk. can be done, But it's a lot of work

Not necessary to swap, A good WJ will stand up to a berk any day.

Being it's not throwing a roost I am leaning towards the PD. is it hanging up on something, cable hard to push pull etc? Maybe it's constantly pointed to far downward? Where is the Handel when your on plane?

Without a droop or something similar you shouldn't get a huge rooster tail.

Talk to Tom. I realized my 545 would be too much for an aluminum impellered WJ so Tom upgraded it with a Magbronze AA, and inducer. The only part re-used was the housing itself.

It sounds like your WJ has a damaged impeller or wear ring. Tom at JBP will get you fixed up.

Vacuum secondary diaphragms work off internal vacuum ports, not an external vacuum source. To tune them you'll get to know the different springs and possibly make an equalizer for the secondaries

Buy a diode from radio shack and tap into the white wire with momentary current flowing to the orange wire during the crank ( orange goes back to the coil or ballast resistor, 12v crank circuit) The idea is to give a 12v "boost" to the ignition during the engine cranking , your white, yellow or white with a trace is typically your starter S wire
