    Exclamation Please help!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I am new to this forum my name is Maurice. I am asking for help from anybody on this forum, my father passed away on December 2nd and a boat was given to me, but my former stepmother told the warehouse owner that nobody wanted the boat so the warehouse owner went ahead and gave away the boat. Ok now information about the boat, the boat was located in San Antonio Texas in a warehouse, the boat was a 1980 sleek craft ambassador 26 with a 460 cubic inch motor and the drive was a Berkley jet drive. Let me post some pictures of the boat to see if anyone recognizes the boat or has seen it recently or even someone in the forum currently owns the boat. I would love to recover the boat due to the fact that that is the only thing I have left from my father.

    Thanks you
    Maurice

Sorry for your loss(es). Boat looks to be in top notch condition. The obvious first step would be to contact the warehouse owner.

I tried to contact the warehouse owner, he said he gave them away and he shredded all the paperwork so he does not know who took the boat. I think there's more to the story but you know how that goes

Cool boat for sure! Super clean in those photos.

I'd start spreading the word on Facebook and other social media outlets as well as Craigslist, etc.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you!

Maybe go pay him a visit in person with some muscle (legal that is)to get the real story , you dont just shred titles and give away propery with out some sort of legal process period , based on your story , I smell a warehouse rat Maybe he can produce documentation , a contract or legal standing that gave him any right to simply uncerimoniuosly "give the boat away" , looking at the pics that boat was worth some dineros and it probably went in his pocket Some states have very specific laws regarding vehicle sales and transfer or disposal , get the license numbers and get hold of Texas game and fish (or whoever is the boat and trailer registrar in Texas and file a document requesting tracing the HIN and license numbers to find out where it went and who has it Also give your local LEO a call and get them involved

He might want to say Big Block Chevy instead of 460. Because the first thing that comes to my mind when you say 460 is Ford.

If you're trying to find the boat and buy it back, I'd say you're on the right track. As mentioned above, post in as many places as possible, see if you can track it down through it's registration.

If you're intent is to claim legal ownership due to the will, I'd contact a lawyer in Texas who deals with that sort of thing and learn what rightful claim you may or may not have. Here in CA, if you don't pay storage fees, I believe the storage company can legally sell your property and keep all proceeds. However, I'm not familiar with the complete process or any legal loopholes that may or may not be afforded in a situation like yours.

In any case, a lawyer may know the ropes and have the contacts to quickly locate the new owner of the boat for you too.

You need to get a lawyer and put some pressure on that warehouse owner. The boat's probably in his back yard.

I really appreciate your guys help, I will try to find the way to find the registration or VIN number of the vessel and yes getting a lawyer to pressure at the warehouse on it sounds like a good idea. this is really This is rea trying to locate it its pretty unique as a boat and yet no one has seen it since February I would imagine if somebody would have bought this boat that would be ranting and raving about it on the internet
