    Default Anyone know this boat?

A friend of a friend is looking to buy this boat. All he's telling me is its a Sanger with a 468. But he's asking me what I think of it. I think it looks nice, but without any details that's about all I can say.

I second the not a Sanger.

Looks a bit like a Challenger with the raised gunnel around the rear.

That's what I thought too. No ID or more pictures. I'm as in the dark as you guys.

Ok, now it's a Kachina...? Not too sure what that is, either.

Here's how this all started. My friend sends me a message on FB, " hey Greg, my buddy is looking to buy this Sanger with a 0hr 468bbc. What would you pay for this?" I returned his message with "I don't think it's a Sanger and I wouldn't pay $10 for it because that's not my kind of boat." "But let me ask the guys that really know these things, hell might even know the actual boat and seller."
So here we are, it's not a Sanger but a Katchina, still no info on the pump or engine details. I told my friend to tell his friend to proceed with extreme caution. There can buy a lot of things wrong under all that shine.

Default That would be my boat

Just created a account and my first post so bare with me the learning curve. The boat in the picture is mine if it's being used to sale another boat someone is in for a surprise. The picture was taken last year at Lake Pleasant in Arizona. It is a 1979 Kachina 18' 460 ford berkeley 12jg. Currently not for sale dropped a valve the end of last season. New engine going in maybe for sale when finished do to pickup up a 19' Miller bubble deck. Thanks Andrew

MR.DENTON, since the boat pictured "for sale" is owned by someone who is not at this time selling it, you might want to tell your friend to stop payment on that check he sent to nigeria...

Hahahaha! Unreal! Thanks for the heads up Andrew, good luck with the new engine. I'll let my friend of a friend know.
I knew someone here would have the answer.

I passed on this info to the friend of my friend. He's very thankful for this info.
