Default Know about this Boat??? Kurtis Jet???

Ok...I was perusing the Craigslist and I came across this little jem.

"1975 Kurtis Kraft 500, RUNS GREAT, WEIAND TUNNEL RAM AND TWO NEW 600 HOLLEY CARBURATORS, PROCOMP DISTRIBUTOR WITH PERTRONIX IGNITION, NEW BATTERY, NEW STEERING CABLE, NEW TRAILER TIRES, ALL CHROME RECENTLY POLISHED, MATCHING BIMINI TOP. BOAT SHOWN IN JUNE 2002 HOT BOAT MAGAZINE. BOAT IN GREAT CONDITION AND READY TO HIT THE RIVER!"

Being sold by a nice gentleman by the name of Steve from Chino, CA. This boat bares a striking resemblance to the boat I grew up on as a pup. My dad had a very similar, if not the same exact, Kurtis till I was six. Here's a pic of it in 1980. My dad is the cool looking dude behind the wheel

Same year, Same colors. The Boat was owned by my old man from 1980 to 89 then he sold it to my uncle who not long after that traded it to placecraft. My question is, with the infinite knowlede within the realms of this forum, Does anybody recognizeor know anything about this boat???

    Thanks

PS...what the hell were you guys thinking in the 70's/80's???

The liberals are asking us to give Obama time. We agree and think 25 to life would be appropriate.

Looks like enough of the CF number is legible in your photo to be able to see if it's the same. Ask the seller in Chino for the CF #. You should anyway, so as to run tax-status before purchase.

Called the guy and matched up the numbers. After 20 years the boat ended up being in my same city wow. All I have to do now is convince my pops to buy it. I told him Id go in on it with him so that I could take the motor

Cool deal. Same city even. Do you think your dad would be interested in getting the boat?
