Default Need plumbing help (Mirage Jaguar Jet 454)

I'm looking for some help on having the plumbing done right on my 454. The previous owner has hoses and valves everywhere. I'm assuming that this wasn't correct and I would like to get it back to the way its meant to be. I have a Mirage Jaguar Jet with a 454 in it. 8 years ago I converted the boat to an outboard, but am now switching it back to the jet as I ended up getting all my stuff back that I sold out of it originally. It's a Gen5 454. Has Rewarder headers on. Berkely Jet with Dominator pump. I will post some pics here. Just looking for some diagrams or something that shows how the water lines should be properly set up with all necessary valves, thermostats, etc. Thanks!

    Kyle

you already know the popular opinion of that hull is it works better as an outboard, but cooler as a jet. c p performance, jet boat performance, eddie marine and others have plumbing info on there web sites. bet the extra valves were to cut water to header at idle...

Mirages work just fine as jets. Get with Garry Snow at performance marine in Texas to help with setup. He proved they are a great performing hull, I know the ride exceptionally well. Lets see some pics of this bad boy. Which number hull you have? They only made 12

I'm good either way. I have two of these 1996 Jaguar hulls. One jet and one outboard. The jet I have is the boat that Garry built that was featured in the May 96 magazine edition of Hot Boat Magazine. (actual boat used and pictured in the article is mine). Shitty part is I ruined it and patched it shut and painted it. Last year I unrigged all the outboard stuff and got the fiberglass cut back out for all the jet stuff. Luckily most of it came back off like a puzzle piece. I have the pump and jet back in. Just need to get the motor bolted back in. This jet stuff is pretty new to me. I'm an outboard guy. Garry Snow and I have talked and emailed back and forth on numerous occasions. Real nice guy and plenty of knowledge. Ill have to get my hull number to figure out which one of the 12 it is. But here is the pictures of it from the magazine and of it when I got it.

I was wondering where the boat in the magazine was. I have hull #7. I'm happy with it.
