    Default Blower Primer System

    February 21, 2009

Several different people have this type of basic system and it works fine when you find the correct jet size to use.

We never used a jet, just an open nozzel ... and the solenoid/hose has to be above the port it's going into because of the gravity feed.

It looks like you're loosing the bottom 1/3 of the available fuel in the way you have it set up there ... you should tap that solenoid into the bottom of the bottle and raise it a little ... the bottom of the bottle looks like it's even with the port it's feeding.

It's so easy to use it's stupid ... that's why Tom Papp called it the "Stupid Bottle"

Is this new for you this season Willis? If so, you'll love it.

I'm 99% positive that is Wilis' blower & hat ... I've used the pump/solenoid/one way check valve before ... I prefer the stupid bottle myself for a racing application.

Here's how we installed it on Ron's boat ... he had a fuel pump and braided line that he wouldn't get rid of ... that's the hose you see hooked up to it. He just loves extra weight in his boat

You'll also see a vent installed into the cap to assist in draining

Primer tank with O-ring sealed cap (must be able to pressurize with portable air tank), N2O solenoid, fuel line, nozzle body and jet.

No need for a fuel pump.
