I used automotive top and trim adhesive. I would get mine at Keyston.

    Bought mine with the carpeting:

Worked just fine, also no exposed stringers. That doesn't change the glueing needed, just makes it more complicated, and all the cutting and trimming is just different.

Mine's been worked hard for 3 years now, including the 2 small pieces I put on top of the wheel-tubs for no-skid steps.

I'm a fan of the 3M trim and top adhesive, for boat carpeting. Can be sprayed thru a regular paint gun, for even distribution. Spray both the area, and then the carpet, let sit 30 seconds or so, then lay carpet in place. You have a few seconds to get stuff in place before it bonds permanent. Clean up is easy, camping fuel cleans off any misplaced glue, on the carpet, and hull. The best thing is, when it comes time to change carpet again, it will come out, without killing your self.
