    Default Foot throttle ?'s

Can someone shed some light on this set up ?

If i go with a pull set up and eliminate my push pedal... does that mean i need a way longer cable ? and it would come out the back of the pedal and then have to loop around back to the engine , instead of a straight shot back like a push set up ?

Am i just confused and making this harder then it is..
    Im thinking about this pedal

Any body have it , or know somebody that has it and how it works cause i dont want to have to loop a shiat load of cable around my boat

you've got it correct, for a pull throttle pedal the cable will have to be routed to wards the front and loop back, then you could come from the back of the engine and pull off the top of the linkage.

unless someone makes a different pedal than I've seen

My boat came with a puller pedel and a push cable mount! Not to Good! LoL! I changed the cable and bought a pull cable mount! Simple and the cable hides a lot better than you would think! Cable smoothly came out of ped. and looped around next to the tank under interior all the way to the back and looped stright up to carb bracket! No sight of cable till it comes out at the back of the boat to carb! Good luck! WT

SOMEONE SAID YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU! SO,IM BURNING IT UP ONE GALLON AT A TIME!

just curious! ...why the pull cable, instead of the normal push set-up?...sooo much easier with a push!...mine runs from pedal down along the side of the stringer/floor (held in place with clips) to a cable plate under carb...no loops, kinks, etc...i painted cable dk brwn to match carpet...cant even see it or know its there!...K.I.S.S.

K.I.S.S Yes i know, but i want to bring my cable from behind the engine instead of the front , and im having issues with a throttle bracket on my holley. No place to mount it without it going backwards (ie) pull cable

im just surfing right now, might just leave it alone

    No you know i wont

I might have found a throttle extention thanks to Josh @ JBP, maybe then i wont need the pull cable. We will see!

Check out my thread in the spam section.. maybe then you will see my problem
