    Default Dominator 12-S impeller question

What is the largest impeller I can get for my old (circa 1982) 12-S.....AA, 9.25", 9.5",...aggressor?

I know there is a large degree of interchange between.....legend, berk, dominator, american turbine, aggressor..etc...some require different wear rings and stuffers when in one combo or another....

Im looking to load 750 hp in the 5000 to 5500 RPM range and would like to pick up a used bronze or stainless impeller if possible....hence my question so I know what can and wont work for my unit.

    Thanks!!

A "AA" impeller detailed correctly from MPD will get you right where you need to be with 750 hp. I run one with a 800hp pump gas 540 and it spins right at 5600 rpm. With 50 less hp you'll be right around 5400. The detail work is key. I turned a stock "AA" impeller with the same pump 5900 rpm. I lost 300 rpm with the detail and gained about 5 mph. They also make a "AAA" and "AAAA" size. Call Jack at MPD to see if he can make one for you.

So when you say AAA, are you talking about a 9 1/4" impeller?
And when you say AAAA , are you refering to a 9.5" impeller?
