    I figured trial and error . I was just curious as to do they realy make a difference?

    i tried several inserts in my taylor sj with a 12je and it didn't help holeshot or mph at all, i had 850hp in that boat so you'd think if it were gonna do something for the 12je , i'd know it now ftns did help my gullwing but that wasn't a 12je pump either.
