Default Sutphen Jet boat Re-power question

I just picked up a 20' sutphen jet boat with no power ,boat is rigged for a 454 and came with everything to install the motor. Front and rear mounts ,exhaust logs and driveshaft.i have a friend who has a fresh drop in mercruiser 454 magnum.will I have any issues making this motor work in the boat ? Will all the parts fit on this engine ? There was a gen4 big block in the boat originally and the motor I'm looking to buy is also a gen4. Thanks happy new year!

These are cool boats and seem to be an "East coast" deal, I'm working with a guy in New Jersey doing a resto on one at this writing, he's repowering with a BBC using a Rail Kit we made for him and a Berkely E pump we custom built a while back, anticipating some pictures soon I'll share Tom

All great info its greatly appreciated ,sutphen20 sent you a pm,my father had one new in 79' 460 powered with a jet,I fell in love with the boat years back and haven't seen one rigged with a jet come up for sale in a very long time ,seems like most were rigged with outboards or stern drives.we ran across this one and jumped on it .

Looking at the engine from the front, clockwise crankshaft rotation.

Yes. (LH rotation = Automotive Rotation = most common engine rotation)
