    Default Electronic dizzy vs points

How many use the stock electronic dizzy in there ride ?

I currently have a converted points to electronic dizzy with the crane module and rev limiter but im thinking about going stock just to get it running and have less wires and shiat hanging on the engine...

I do plan on an upgrade after i run the boat awhile , but my main concerne is to get it running the easiest way
So how many use the stock stuff

I say wire it with what you have. Take your time and make sure its all run properly. Should not be an issue. I think my MSD control module took all of 10 minutes to hook up. that Crane should not be alot different.

Steve the Crane XRI unit is the best conversion unit available today. The points will drive you nuts. They are very simple to hook up as well.

Yea, points suck. Go electronic and ya won't have to mess with it again.

Any car stereo shop should have it. Or at Wal*Mart in the audio section.

Nothing is simpler or more bullet proof than a mag. One wire for a kill switch and that's it. Our first lake flat had 4 wires in it, 2 for the start button, 2 for the kill switch. Mechanical tach and fuel pump, charge the battery and it would last all weekend. Ultimate simplicty...
