So my buddy's boat wouldn't turn left because the clevis had 2 attachment holes, and the further one being used. Anyway, we went to pull the stud out if the tiller arm and it broke. We tried drilling out the broken piece but we're unsuccessful. We did get it drilled out far enough to get a 3/8ths bolt in and through bolted the cable. Question is, is that bolt adequate for the steering?? I have no worries about it coming loose but I do worry about sheering the bolt from turning back and forth pulling his kid tubing. What do y'all say??
