The back 4 bolt holes are actually cut off and the intake shortened then 2 holes were re drilled and tapped ? TBScustoms yours are just the corners are cut off.

Mine came with the corners cut off as well. I see where yours looks shorter as you said. Did you buy it new? I don't see a reason a guy would need that done.

Thats my thought ,Came off my Daytona and put it into my PD and never gave it a second thought until I noticed it was shorter about 2 1/2 inches and I could see just the edge of a bolt hole on the back side suction was drilled to match, looks factory just wondering why someone would cut it back I see no gains.someone on here probably knows or maybe the guy before me got a new saw for Christmas and wanted to try it out.

When you buy a new lopro from mpd you have to send him your su:tion to have it matched to the opening. I feel like thats what happened to your lopro. Do you still have the same suction housing on it now.

mine was never matched to the suction piece, and it fit perfectly. then after the old suction piece finally gave out (thrust bearing failure 30 years ago, finally cracked half way around the bowl flange), we replaced it with another berk and it fit perfectly. just a plain 'ol berk suction piece...
