    Default Ski Holders

Does anyone know if you can can old school ski holders anywhere? I found some on CP Performance's website, but they were a little pricey. I have an older 16ft Tahiti splash jet, and I am trying to keep it sorta 'period' correct. I have a buddy that has some that mount to the gunwale, but his came with his boat when he bought it in 1980!

I'd be interested in them if he isn't. Gonna need something to hold my ski with this summer as my boat will finally be running again!

    Default Ski holders

There is one on E Bay right now. Item number: 190282207958
I sold it to this guy years ago. Came on my 75 Sanger superjet and mounted on the heads of the 455 olds. I think it said GIL.

i've always liked this style....ive only seen one in recent times...pretty rare.

they were normally bare metal....chromed.....but after the 3rd or 4th time my dad knocked his head on it while wrenching on the motor, he took it to get coated in rubber.

or go for some like this....

Tin are you talking about the small aluminum pieces the screw to the gunnels with a removeable Bracket ? I think I have some used ones , probably incomplete but they might be a start Tom

I have 2 pair I'd sell cheap. They were on my old tahiti, I gotta warn ya though, as soon as I bought the boat they came off because they were causing some stress cracks.
