    Hello everyone. New member here with a cam question. ok the facts, ford 385 series,stock block bored 60 over, zero deck, stock crank turned .010 under rods and mains, truck rods, arp main studs, trw l2404 pistons. The heads are old style decked to 72 cc chambers ported some on intake with 2.09 valves. Exhaust side is well ported with 1.72 valves. also have billet 9 way timing set. What I have at my disposal-- rpm air gap manifold, dooe manifold anda few old tunnel rams maybe offy and weiand? holley 750 dp mech sec. 1.8 roller rockers and rewarder headers.Also have logs and s pipes or snails! Now the boat 77 sleekcraft aristocrat 20' not to heavy, not to light. Goldeneagle YJ loader, AT energizer kit, A impeller, strait snoot and diverter. oh not an sst bottom. Bottom is strait, gonna install a berk jg pump I have in the future maybe next winter. Im not to concerned with idle quality, rough is fine. Im not trying to be all out dragboat just lots of fun! I was looking at a lunati cam 10340362 .560/560 lift [email protected] 285adv 108 Lsa not sure if this is a good choice or not. Im trying to use the 1.8 rockers I have. I know they add lift and some duration,have done the math and I think its ok. ill stop rambling now thanks in advance for any help! If anymore info is needed just ask!

    Default Cam

    I same basic set up. I use a Berkley 12JG with a B impeller intake has a ride plate, shoe, and super sport loader. Engine is 468 BBF with 429 heads big valves and light port work with 70cc com chambers. Same cam shaft as you listed with 1.73 rocker arms. Mine turns 5500 rpms.
