    Default What hull is this?

Hey all, I've recently decided that jet boats would be my new hobby/addiction, and I've been spending time on the internet doing research and looking for deals. I've come to the conclusion that there's nothing out there that I deem to be perfect, or even close enough for the cost, so I'm planning on buying a hull and putting my own together over the winter. I recently stumbled across this one and dig the lines, but have no idea what is is. Any help?

Also, let me know if I'm way out of line with what I expect to pay, knowing I can do everything except machine work on the motor myself. I'm figuring I'll pay 5-6k for my motor (460, stroked and pretty), 2k for drive, 2k for interior, 1k for odds and ends (cables and gauges), and another 1k in paint. Puts me all in around 12k for something thats truly mine. Am I close?

That looks a little like my Sleekcraft Rebel, but hard to tell. Mine definitely doesn't have that wing. Mine was about the same condition as that hull when I bought it, and I had to replace all of the wood in it: floor, stringer, dash, gunnels, etc. It took me a couple of years, working on it part time, to do it. Your budget is enough to buy one that is ready to go without all that, and still have some left over to tweak it the way you want. Just my opinion, others may differ.
